Nice, quaint restaurant in the center of Engelmar. Food (freshly cooked Bavarian home cooking) was delicious and more than enough, everyone in our group was full! The service was very friendly and the restaurant is very busy. (Fortunately we made reservations beforehand) The price-performance ratio is absolutely correct. The service was fast, courteous, attentive and also nice to look at in the bay. Dirndl. In short: highly recommended !!!!

The 🍺 was delicious.

Parcel sauce spoils the otherwise good meat. Hygiene rules only partially implemented. We were there with a birthday party, the birthday child wasn't even congratulated. Service visibly overwhelmed with the place too crowded.

Delicious meal. Unfortunately, the mushrooms were out of the tin, so only four stars. Fresh ingredients are essential in a good kitchen.

Great view, cheap dishes, unfortunately not very tasty. The goulash was still quite tough, the sauces rich in sauce thickeners.

We stopped by on our bike tour and were pleasantly surprised. The sun terrace was cozy, the service friendly and quick, the Bavarian dishes good. Small wish - more vegetarian dishes.

The Gasthaus Schroll is always worth a visit. We go out to eat there several times a year and are always very satisfied. The service is super courteous, the kitchen does a great job and the food is always delicious. Special thanks to Christine and Michael Schroll, who cook us delicious meals every year. Families with children are welcome and the little ones always get a little something. Every year we look forward to the Hannerl, which always gives us a warm welcome and is the heart of the Gasthaus Schroll for us. We look forward to the next visit.
